Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to my homepage! It's split into 3 parts: 1. My blog / feed, where I talk about my music but also about random stuff. 2. "Releases and Activities", where I list projects and releases that I'm involved in, without all the banter. There is where you want to go if you are mainly interested in my music and activism. 3. And the menu on the side that links to my bio, labels, and so on. Enjoy your stay!

Keep up the fight!

Keep up the fight!

When talking about political activism, standing up for one's "rights", going against oppression, injustice, and lies, there is a common response by a lot of people:

"Yeah, the problems you are talking about it are very real. But, we are powerless to do anything about that. The authorities, the big corporations, 'the system', are just too powerful and strong, and society is too numb and jaded and will not support our struggle. It's just like the world is. We could not win this fight. So let's better not do anything at all about the problem in this world."

Well, here's the thing. In order to *fight*. You do not need to win. You do not even need to be sure that you win, or have any hope of winning at all.
This is not what the political fight is about. It's not what fighting is about in general!

Even outside the world of politics; let's say in the world of sports. Do you think a top tennis or football player only goes into a tournament if they "know" that they have a 100% chance of winning? Even a sportsperson that has only a slim chance of winning will accept the challenge.

Or do you think an animal would only fight if it knows that it will win the fight?
No. Even a smaller animal that is backed into a corner against a bigger group of animals will put up a heck of a fight.

So yeah. Maybe we can't "beat the system". Maybe we are not strong enough to go against "the man". But we can still put up a heck of a fight, regardless of that. We do not need to resign and "go down silently". We can fight back.

And who knows.. maybe we will in the end, after all?
