Slowcore Records has existed for almost 2 years now; we have put out 30 records so far; Slowcore Techno is gaining in popularity, and more and more artists are adapting this sound, too (or simply slowing down their tracks).
Time to look back a bit, dive into our archives, and present this compilation, which aims to serve as an introduction to the Slowcore Techno sound and movement; for those who are curious and want to experience a first hand taste of this bold new brand of music, or for those who are already in-the-know and just want to kick back and listen to some bangers.

Showcasing artist, tracks and sounds from all over the place, some more Technoid, some more Doomed, some more Industrial, some more Noisy; but having in common the steady, pulsating, merciless slowed down beat that defines Slowcore; and, most of the time, blasting out tough-as-nails steelworks-like drums with that extra hard-hitting crunch and overdose of distortion.
These are the things that make Slowcore so interesting - and fun!
