My Online Resources

As my activities in music, form, and text are spread over a vast area in the virtual world, I thought I should make a list of them; so that if you are interested in my music and want to "dig deeper", this is a possible starting point.

My Soundcloud:

This is where I sometimes preview new tracks, but mostly it is older tracks that I find "special" in one way or the other, as well as reposts of releases and tracks by me that were put on soundcloud by other people / labels.

My Bandcamp:

When I came back to Hardcore, in the early years I only put out music outside of labels, on self-releases, which are on this bandcamp.
Since then, it is a host to tracks that I think don't fit in to other releases, such as loose ends, or multitudes of remixes of a single track, or Chiptune efforts by me, and strange and weird experiments.

Bootymaster Entropy

An, "ahem", rather strange project by me, orignally for Bootytechno and Bootycore. Since a rather "cringe" start, I now try to push Body Positivity and LGBTQIA+ rights with it. You can find it on my Bandcamp.

Doomcore Records

A record label I run. Focus on Doomcore, Oldschool Hardcore, Techno, and sick, dark music in general.

A new branch of it is the Doomcore Records Pod Cast series, that features Doomcore and Techno mixes by various DJs.

Hearthis

Home to my Tribute Mixes. In these mixes I focus on the history of Hardcore, especially the Experimental Hardcore, Speedcore and Breakcore of the 90s.
Some other mixes can be found here too.

Mixcloud

Mostly a mirror for my Hearthis, but also some distinct mixes on it, and vice versa.

Experimental Electronics And Other Interesting Music

My blog where I want to spread interesting music I find on the web, for example on Soundcloud or Youtube. I try to write a new post each day.

Experimental New Wave And Other Indie Music

Blog similar to the EEAOM blog, but for Indie Pop, Alternative Rock and similar genres. Defunct since 2014, and I rather post entries that fit to this theme to the EEAOM blog.

Low Entropy Music

My Homepage where I try to coordinate all my activities.

Facebook

My Facebook page where I post regular updates about my sound and thoughts.

Dustor Sheean

A "Digital Hardcore" type project with a vocalist that I re-activited a while ago. The releases are also on my Bandcamp.

Youtube

Videos to some of my tracks, visual projects, or just plain audio.

Vimeo

Similar to my Youtube, with some extra videos.

Thoughts On Some Things

Blog where I post about topics relating to philosophy, politics, music, mental health issues, sexuality, and how they all these things connect.

E-books

I write E-books on a variety of topics, with the main focus being on Hardcore Techno of the 90s. You can find a list of my E-books here:

Vinyls and CDs

While most of my output is digital and online, some of my tracks find their way to physical releases. You can find them here:

Instagram

I post updates here, memes, and other weird content.

Twitter

Also a place for updates about my music.

My Other Mixes

I sometimes do mixes for other podcasts, labels, and so on. I haven't compiled a list of them yet.

Releases On Netlabels

My main body of work is the music I do (of course), and most of it is released on netlabels around the world. You can find these releases listed on Discogs.

My Side Projects

I have lots of other side projects, but they will remain secret for now.

My David Lynch Dream

Inspired by a dream about David Lynch and his art.
One atonal Doomcore Techno track, one Ambient Slowcore track, and a Spoken Word experiment. And, as a bonus, an Oldschool Hardcore Techno track.

The owls are not what they seem.

My Love Song Album

This is one of my strangest releases. In 2004, I wanted to turn my back on Hardcore and make Dream Pop and Ethereal instead. For a long time, nothing came out of it. In 2008, I finally came round to make backing tracks for a full album, I just needed a singer to complete it.
But then through twists and turns, I came to my senses again and started to listen to and produce Hardcore again, and said goodbye to the Pop idea. As you probably know.

Over the years, I thought I had lost the Pop track files, which was a bit sad for me, as I liked them.
Then I found a CD-R of a backup with these tracks on it, that I had completely forgot about.
The funny thing is, I noticed these tracks don't sound like Pop or Shoegaze at all, but rather very close to my later Doomcore sounds.
Dark, reduced synth pads, Techno / Electro beats, lots of reverb... just a little softer.
This instrumental album then became one of the first Doomcore Records releases, aptly named "Closest thing to Pop I have ever done", in 2013.

But after a while I thought, "I wanted to have an album with 'real songs', with lyrics and a singer". And as I could never find a singer for it, I decided to "sing" on it myself (more like Spoken Word actually).

So I did, and released the album on Bandcamp in 2017, using the name "The Doom Pop Album". Because that's what it is to me, something in between Pop music and Doomcore.

The theme of the album is "true love", and all 9 tracks on it are about love.

The story doesn't end here though. As the sounds were, as I said, very close to my Doomcore sounds, I decided to rework the instrumental tracks with a more brutal / noizy sound. The results were released in 2020 on Doomcore Records again, under the name "The Hardcore Reworks".

But I wonder if, with that, we've heard the last of these tracks.

Legends In Their Life

Newly edited version of this unofficial PCP e-book 🙂

I wrote this book in 2014; seven years ago. A volume 2 of it would be due because, since then, the story of PCP continued, went much farther, with the Planet Phuture re-releases and other projects, and also much more information has come to the surface, much more is known about the beginnings of the labels, the history of PCP, the artists, the projects...
So this is the possible plan for a future day. But right now, this book stays as it is, a lot of the information in it is not obsolete by now, it sort of gives a 2014 look into a 1990s label, and I think the information contained in here can (still) be useful to those interested in it... and often, it's nicer when some mysteries are not explained but stay - mysterious.
But, a lot of spelling errors and minor mistakes have been removed (while some have been kept).

Malfunction

An album I did for Praxis that was supposed to be released on CD and vinyl some time after my Anarcho-Psychotic EP on the same label in the early 2000s.
Due to reasons (literally) beyond my or the labels control, it never happened. But it was finally released - with the original tracks - on Praxis Digital in 2018 - more than 15 years after its inception!
Style: Moody outer space Breakcore with lots of distortion - stylistically definitely a follow up to the Anarcho-Psychotic EP.
