Taciturne

Taciturne already delighted our label family almost exactly 2 years ago, with his "Volksdorf Trax" release. That time this was on Doomcore Records, but now we are happy to announce a release by him on Omnicore as well!
We don't think much words are needed to introduce Taciturne, right? Fischkopf, Anticore, Der Toten, Mourning, bona fide Hardcore legend.

This is a release with tracks he actually did during the Fischkopf era, but that never got a proper release - until now!
A variety of styles and influences - Hardcore, Speedcore, Industrial, Chiptune, Heavy Metal and Children's TV - a true master of mending the most different sounds and concepts into a coherent whole.
While this music is undoubtedly related to the whole of the "90s Hardcore insanity", one of the things that stand out here is the focus and use of atmospheric and ambient sounds in many tracks, that are integrated well into the sonic onslaught without feeling like an artificial addition (like it is sometimes the case with other artists).

And, we have the trusted, familiar, crispy, futuristic Commodore Amiga sound here, as these tracks seem to have been mostly produced on tracker software for this very computer.

If all of this sounds like it could be your thing, then make sure to head right over here and have a listen!

Taciturne also has a new 12" out with wholly new material, which you can check out here:
