Psycore Mix

in the last years, a completely deranged genre took roots: Psycore. essentially the Hardcore version of Psytrance, it takes elements from Psy, Hardcore, Speedcore, Extratone, Dark Ambient and Noize and generally wicked experimentalism. The tracks in this mix clock between 200 and 1000 BPM (and more?). you find dark samples and sounds here but also videogame type sounds, melodic parts and general crazyness. everything thrown together and everything mental. what a combination! this genre is still not much known amongst outsiders, so it's time to bring Psycore to a different audience too. over 130 minutes of fun and kicks here. enjoy - if you can.

Coming soon - my return to Noisj! And on this occasion, a very special release... as you know, usually I rather produce in the style of Doomcore than Industrial Hardcore... but this time I decided to create a mixture of these two... and, for a third part, added some Oldschool Hardcore influences... but check for yourself.

SIDcore Mix

Another round in this series of Chiptune Hardcore mixes. This time the focus is only on true C64 SID chiptunes. For many the most important era of chiptunes music.

And it is pure chiptune; the capabilities of the C64 SID-chip were quite limited compared to today's DAWs. Very limited sampling, a few common waveforms. But at least the possibility of filters and modulation.
These Sidcore artists set this chip to its limits; and the results are insane. Some is at least in someway recognizable as common Hardcore, some is just pure noise of chip sounds and it might be hard to find the drum.
Styles vary; we have Hardcore, Oldschool, Gabber, Happy Hardcore, and even Speedcore and some experiments. And even an Acidcore attempt.
So better get ready!

The Slowcore Compilation

Doomcore Records is looking for YOUR Slowcore and Funeral Doomcore tracks for an upcoming digital compilation!

What is Slowcore? Slowcore is a genre of Hardcore and Doomcore determined by very slow speeds.
To get an idea of "Slowcore", check for example this release: https://lowentropy.bandcamp.com/album/the-ultimate-slowcore-collection

For this release, we define "Slowcore" as anything below 126 BPM. And the slower, the better! So we hope to see many 60, 30, or even 1 BPM tracks.

Deadline for submissions is Sunday, 18.07.2021
The compilation will be released on Bandcamp with the option "Free, but pay what you want" and all money will be donated to a charity.
PS: We don't do mastering, so if you want your tracks mastered, you have to do that yourself.

Superpower - Dark Germany (Fire From The Underground Edit - Unofficial)

I always loved the track "Dark Germany" by Superpower on Things To Come... especially the segment towards the end, when the track changes... and I thought... what if that segment was a track to itself?
Then a while ago I had the idea to a do a remix... and use a technique that was still common in the 80s, when tracks were not recreated on workstations, but tapes spliced, looped and merged... so I cut the track in parts and put them together again without adding new sounds... and here it is.
It's an unofficial edit, but has the blessing of Oliver Chesler, I hope you enjoy it a bit.
