Mashes Of The Afternoon

Info by the label:

(ENDE470) Low Entropy vs Bass Riddler - Mashes Of The Afternoon

Breakcore, hardcore and Doomcore Records legend Low Entropy returns with a collaboration with Bass Riddler.

"Mashes Of The Afternoon" is Low Entropy's first attempt at "mashup" breakcore and plunderphonics. Although he apparently used a lot of different music sources that he'd never really heard in mashup. It's quite a disjointed crash of styles and genres but still retains a great cohesion.

34 tracks of over the top and noisy as fuck late 90s mashup vs old school breakcore, chiptune and powernoise.

Support the revolutionary struggle in Iran! - A Techno-Hardcore Mix

A mix in support of the revolutionary struggle in Iran. It starts low and slow with some ambient, downtempo sounds, to get to techno and acid stuff, and ends with very frantic gabber and breakbeats.
We hope that you support the fight in Iran, too!

Hardcore Deviants

Celebrating my 300th release.
1 album, 13 tracks, 70+ minutes of music.
Industrial Hardcore, Doomcore, Rave, Acid, Gabber, Terror, Speedcore.

In all these years, I've often been asked: "why didn't you 'sign' to a bigger label / played at bigger parties / tried to appeal more to the 'mainstream audience'? You might have reached a lot of people that way!"

Well, the thing is, I'm not interested in reaching the "most amount" of people. Because I'm not really interested in reaching out to "normal people".

I'm interested in making music for the outcasts, deviants, rebels, anarchists, lunatics, diseased, the dark, broken, and twisted. For those on the fringe.

No point in appealing to the mainstream idiots. Make it sick, instead.

Outburst

Der Cherep on Slowcore Records. A further step in the evolution of his sound! Ethereal, epic, surreal, eldritch. A heavy dose of ambient sounds, entrancing, almost like a mantra or ritual, driven into people's brain by the force of the merciless, as-massive-as-tungsten drums.

How about you take a listen right now?

New diet

I started a brand new diet... only one piece of chocolate a day 😅

Haunting

I fan once described my music as "haunting, but beautiful"... and I think that's a pretty good description of me as well ;-)

Holmur

A conceptual album by Holmur on Omnicore Records. This is Boreal Ambient at its best! Dark, brooding drones, pads, sounds, at times beatless, emitting a sense of horror, dread, mental terror.
You feel as if you were actually standing in an arctic region, in dark but star filled night, with the northern light glowing far above at the boundary between earth and the space beyond, feeling the freezing, cold taste of the air around you.

Being a conceptual album, this release follows a story, which is told (or rather, hinted at) in various "Logbog" entries that are interlaced with the regular tracks.
But it's not just "dark ambient drones" on this album; there are elements of Jazz, Techno, Dub, Downbeat, and other Electronica, too, submerged within the sonic architecture.

Dare we say that inspiration by such classic releases as Biosphere's Patashnik, Alec Empire's Low On Ice, or Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works can be found here?
So get into the cold and grim northern night, follow a disturbing and twisted story, and have a listen to this release.

Tracklisting:

Holmur - Thicker Than Water

01. Logbog Part 1
02. Thicker Than Water
03. Logbog Part 2
04. Corner Surveillance
05. Logbog Part 3

09. Logbog Part 5
10. Late Night TV

Dissociation

Last year we announced the first Slowcore music video ever! ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHbugtF23Wo )
And now there is already a second Slowcore video up.

It's a video to the track Dissociation by Origin of Styx, which was released on Slowcore Records 05 - "How To Exit Your Body For Beginners" ( https://doomcorerecords.bandcamp.com/album/how-to-exit-your-body-for-beginners )

As the name implies, the video deals with the human phenomenon of dissociation, and we like both the video and the track very much.
